I am an Assistant Research Professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Mississippi State University. My research interests include in wireless communication and networking, particularly in the scopes of wireless security, spectrum sharing, software radios, and wireless testbeds and testing with application to unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), reconfigurable intelligent surfaces (RISs), and open radio access network.
 
During my Ph.D., I strived to build up a prestigious publication record as the first author of several scientific papers that got accepted for publication in top venues, including IEEE Wireless, IEEE Transactions on Vehicular Technology, and IEEE Communications Magazine, and several flagship conferences of the IEEE Vehicular Technology Society and IEEE Communications Society, among others. I have expanded my scientific collaboration with researchers within the US and Europe and have established strong research ties. In addition, I also have contributed to several research proposals.  Recently, I have been invited to join the “IEEE P1954: Standard for Self-Organizing Spectrum-Agile Unmanned Aerial Vehicles Communications” standards group to leverage UAV communication standards.
